Opened in 2010, the flight simulator lab at Farnsworth Aerospace has been providing students with a hands-on STEM learning experience for nearly 10 years.

Its success led to the adaptation of an additional sim lab at Johnson Aerospace & Engineering High School, as a part of the first Aerospace Magnet program in the country that allows students to remain within a STEM-based Aerospace Curriculum from Pre-K through 12th grade.

Our Farnsworth lab hosted the annoucement of Mary Cathryn Ricker as commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Education in December of 2018
